Bounce Back Youth Service -
South East
Cavan

The Bounce Back UBU Youth Service is a youth centred service operated collaboratively by Youth Work Ireland Cavan Monaghan and ISPCC that works with young people aged 10 – 24 years. We work with targeted young people accorrs south east Cavan. Iin Ballyjamesduff, bailieboro and kingscourt. We work on an ethos of voluntary participation, where each individual is respected and valued; We aim to support young people who have identified needs and may be experiencing challenges or adversity in their lives to help them reach their full potential in a safe and supportive environment. We provide a range of services for young people including: One to one support, Advocacy, Group work, Drop-in support, Detached youth work, Outreach, Support of volunteers. The Bounce Back UBU Youth Service is funded by the Department of Children UBU - Your Place, Your Space targeted youth funding scheme, through Cavan Monaghan Education and Training Board (CMETB).

Where are we based:

Bounce Back Youth Service is delivered across two locations in South East Cavan in Ballyjamesduff and Baileborough. And Outreach in Kingscourt

Who we work with:

We support ages10–24 years across our youth groups, outreach, and detached work.

Programmes

We offer a wide range of youth-centred supports, including:

Youth Café’s

​

Non-formal, inclusive programs to help young people socialise and integrate within a safe and positive environment. Young people have access to a wide variety of equipment such as play stations and the pool table during the youth cafes.

Detached Youth Work

​

Youth workers meet young people where they hang out and spend time within their own environment, offering information, support, and guidance.

Structured Programs

​

Structured Programs are organised depending on the needs of the young people, previous programs include, Coding, Young men’s group, Sporting programs, Arts and Crafts groups, Eco programs, Young women’s group, LGBT+ support group, and more.

One-to-One Rural Resilience Programme (ISPCC)

​

A trauma-informed, strengths-based service that supports young people (10–18) to build psychological resilience through personalised sessions.
